This means, the aspirants have more time for preparation that before. But at the same time, the increased time is going to be helpful only if it is being put to use thoroughly.
Significance and Impact of the revised Exam Dates-
The revised date can affect an aspirants’ performance to a large extent depending on how they have utilised the lockdown months. For many this is a boon as they got more time to study and made the most of it. However, if you have been rather lax with your study schedules during this time, it is high time that you pick up a systematic pace.
The declaration of the dates from UPSC is also significant as it is an indicative about the lockdown phase finally coming to an end. Most of the new dates are scheduled for September and later- the part of the year when the pandemic is expected to stabilize.
